C'est avec une très grande tristesse que l'équipe de France Culture a appris la disparition de Jean Couturier, jeudi 1er avril 2010, dans sa 68ème année. Producteur, réalisateur, poète et metteur en scène, Jean Couturier a su inventer à chaque fois et dans des époques différentes de nouvelles formes radiophoniques. (lire la suite)

The Wroclaw Industrial Festival is one of its own kind in East part of Europe. It shows avantgarde art : music, plastic art, video art, performance. The whole idea of this event is a multimedia live action (music, video, exhibition) that refers to archaic rules that describe our reality. The Festival stresses those aspects of our technical world, that collective subconscious consider as a chance but at the same time as a danger. Our Festival refers to action of the artists from the beginning of the XX century: futurists, Enviromental Art and industrial art. As well critics as media appreciate this kind of action as a convention of contemporary avantgarde art.

After the release of We Gave A Party For The Gods... Clair Obscur are working on a new record project. They have asked friend artists, mostly non-musicians (visual artists, choreographers, journalists...), to make a remix or cover of one of the songs of their latest album. This remix project will be out on Optical Sound in the next months.
Clair Obscur have started to write the first songs of their future album. So far the tracks compared to their latest album sound less "rock", stranger and more varied. We will see how this will evolve...
We have added a few old songs to our MySpace player for you to listen to. This is the kind of music with which you will make friends if you go sunbathing on the French Riviera.
